My legal journey and interest in diversity started at the University of Reading where I began my degree and first started volunteering for StreetLaw. StreetLaw is a programme whereby university students attend schools in deprived areas to teach about the law, the legal profession and university. I enjoyed giving some of these youngsters a vision and a hope for the future that university is not out of reach for anyone, and that the legal profession is not an unreachable path.<\/p>\n
My interest in diversity has continued into my training contract which I commenced in September 2016. I’ve been part of the BeyondMe programme and One Firm One day where again I have spent time volunteering with underprivileged and lower income families and children helping to give them an insight into higher education and the legal profession.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":10052,"template":"","acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
