I am the first of my family to finish secondary school, let alone university and certainly the first to pursue a career in law. I grew up in a low-income, socially mobile background meaning that I was in full-time employment throughout my education. Having been state school educated and growing up in a socially mobile household, I understand the financial constraints that pursuing a career in the law can entail.<\/p>\n
I am also very aware of the challenge and level of competition that entry into the legal profession poses. Having been a beneficiary of numerous Aspiring Solicitors initiatives, I am keen to offer Aspiring Solicitors members as much help\/advice as I can to help ensure that the law is a profession that people of all backgrounds\/ upbringings feel they can pursue, where jobs are awarded on merit and not because of financial\/ social advantages.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":12497,"template":"","acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
