“As an international student from Africa, the UK legal industry was foreign to me. AS First was my initial exposure to law firms and the programme built my confidence because a lot of the people I saw were from similar backgrounds to mine. The BLEW was fundamental in widening my understanding of the law in practice and AS Aspire really firmed my application and interview skills in preparation for opportunities at law firms. As a future magic circle trainee, I am grateful to AS for providing a platform that allowed me to break out of my shell, away from my constraints and succeed in the city.”
