Profile:

Having been born in India, raised in Belgium and educated in the UK, adapting to new cultures whilst retaining my own identity has always been a challenge. My experiences have proven to me that culture largely frames the laws of a country to develop societal unity through beliefs – and it is this that encouraged to pursue a career in law. However, the world of business and commercial relationships also intrigued me through its vast growth opportunities.

My journey began in 2015 when I went to the University of Warwick to study Law with Business Studies. This course found a link between my two areas of interest and introduced me to the possibility of working at a multidisciplinary practice. I attended PwC’s Summer Vacation Scheme during my final year at university and discovered the practical approaches the firm takes towards solving clients’ problems whilst simultaneously accepting an adaptive culture as a means of investing in their people.

Following the Summer Vacation Scheme, I accepted a Training Contract offer and completed the Legal Practice Course and a MSc in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law. I am now in the first seat of my Training Contract with the immigration team and could not be happier working for a diverse and inclusive firm as such.

I would be happy to offer advice to anyone looking to enter into the legal profession. Though daunting, it is rewarding – so please do get in touch if you have any questions.
