Profile:

I am a solicitor and have been qualified for over thirty years, educated through the state system at a comprehensive school. I spent fifteeen years at DLA Piper and then ten at Dentons. Currently, I am at Lloyds Bank in their legal team specialising in litigation.

While my parents were hugely encouraging neither of them attended university. In fact, my father was brought up in abject poverty during the great depression of the 1930s in the East End of London. My parents instilled in me the importance of both social justice and education. Due to their support, I was able to pursue a successful career as a solicitor in top city law firms.

In turn, I have tried to support others to achieve their goals having helped set up a work experience programme for AS members with Aspergers back in 2016. More recently, I have assisted a number of paralegals providing guidance with the application process to sucessfully obtain training contracts. I am extremely approachable and very willing to help with any questions whatsoever. Overall, I am keen on unlocking the potential of others to end inequality.
