Profile:

I started my legal career as a Paralegal in 2014, working on serious personal injury cases, before starting my training contract at another law firm in 2015.

During my two-year training contract, I spent time in Corporate, Private Client, Residential Property, Commercial Property and Property Litigation – it is perhaps therefore unsurprising that I became a property lawyer!

I qualified as a solicitor in September 2017 and moved to Charles Russell Speechlys on qualification to practice in Private Property (residential property) where I have worked since.

Alongside my career I have been involved in various initiatives including BPP’s Access to Practice Scheme and my firm’s “This Is Me” mental health campaign.

I was also named by eprivateclient as one of the Top 35 Under 35 Private Client advisors in 2022, and I am on eprivateclient’s NextGen Advisory Panel.

As a female state-educated lawyer, who attended a non-Russell Group university and had no legal contacts, I am passionate about seeing more diversity in the legal profession and empowering young people to believe they have the ability to get there. It can only benefit our clients to have a representative and diverse workforce.
