Profile:
I’m an associate in Stephenson Harwood’s commercial, data and tech team and qualified in September 2022. I grew up in North West London and I’m Jewish by background. I went to a comprehensive state school where I sat my GCSEs and A Levels. I then went to Bristol University to do an undergraduate degree in law before working as a paralegal for 13 months at another law firm. I then took a year out to go travelling before completing the LPC at BPP.
Coming from a minority background myself, I’m passionate about diversity both in terms of increasing representation of minority ethnic groups in law but also seeing greater diversity in relation to social mobility.
Applying for training contracts can be a daunting process at the best of times but reaching out to people already working in the profession is a great way to gain a real insight into the legal world, build your network and ultimately help you secure a training contract.
