Our Virtual Diversity Law Fairs (VDLFs) give diverse candidates from around the UK the opportunity to speak to a number of our partner law law firms who are committed to increasing diversity in the legal profession. Each participating firm will be represented by lawyers, graduate recruitment teams and trainees. This will be the fourth year of our VDLFs and they have been a resounding success in previous years.
What can I expect?
If you sign up now, you will be:
- Invited to a coaching session in advance of the VDLF
- Able to select the type of firms you want to speak to in advance
- Placed in small groups to have meaningful conversations with firms
- Able to apply for other AS opportunities in 2024
When are the VDLFs?
The Russell Group VDLFs will be on the 28 August and 9 September 2024 (from 9.30am-3pm with an hour break for lunch). There are also two dates for Non-Russell Group Law Fairs. The VDLF will be delivered virtually.
Eligibility
To be eligible for our Autumn VDLFs you must:
- Be an Aspiring Solicitors member
- (In September 2024) Be a second year law undergraduate or final year non-law undergraduate student or any year group after this e.g. graduates etc.;
- Be on track to receiving a 2.1 university degree classification (excluding significant mitigating circumstances);
- Have a strong interest in becoming a commercial lawyer;
- Not have secured a training contract.

Please sign up as soon as possible, as applications are being reviewed on a rolling basis and forms will be closed once capacity is reached. Please sign up at the very latest by 5pm 4 September 2024.
