BCLP Brand Ambassador Overview

BCLP are offering an exciting, paid opportunity to become an on-campus Brand Ambassador. As a BCLP Brand Ambassador, you will be integral to promoting the BCLP brand on campus while helping identify exciting, diverse talent at the start of their journey to becoming a solicitor. 

The BCLP Brand Ambassador role is a paid position that allows you to understand better how a global law firm, with diversity and inclusion (D&I) as a central part of its strategy, works in practice. You will also receive coaching from former lawyers and graduate recruitment managers from the Aspiring Solicitors team to apply for a vacation scheme with BCLP.

If successful, you will be invited to an induction day at BCLP offices, where we will provide you with the information and toolkit to ensure you succeed with this opportunity.

Requirements

As a BCLP Brand Ambassador, you would be required to:

  • Promote and raise awareness of the BCLP brand on campus
  • Attract and convert high calibre, diverse talent to BCLP vacation placements and future training contracts, working with AS to help ‘talent spot’
  • Plan and coordinate an event on campus to raise awareness of the BCLP brand, utilising a budget of £750
  • Compile a monthly report to share your progress with the Aspiring Solicitors and BCLP team

Key dates

  • Applications for the BCLP Brand Ambassador opportunity close on 5 August 2024. Please note that applications will be considered on a rolling basis. Due to demand, we may also close applications before this date. Therefore, please submit your application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
  • Group interviews for the position will take place at selected times from w/c 1 July 2024 to w/c 5 August 2024.
  • Places will be confirmed by w/c 5 August 2024.
  • There will be a training day at the BCLP offices in London on 13 August 2024. You will be required to attend this day, the date for this will be confirmed during the application process. Travel expenses will be reimbursed for this day.
