The AllAboutLaw perspective on Osborne Clarke
Osborne Clarke is a law firm with global reach that offers trainees challenging work and access to a wealth of interesting clients. Their legal advice is guided by their 3D approach, which helps clients consider the external factors affecting their business, the rules and regulations, the market they operate in, and how global trends drive change, ensuring their legal advice focuses not only on the present but helps clients succeed in tomorrow's world.
The firm aims to make its training contract "completely bespoke," and all new starters are given the opportunity to discuss their interests and ambitions with the firm's HR team before they commence their training. Client secondments are on offer, and all trainees are given the opportunity to spend time working in one of the firm's international offices.
The firm also offers a vacation scheme each year, consisting of a two-week placement in one of the firm's UK offices. First-year law students and second-year non-law students can also participate in the firm's insight scheme, which gives candidates an insight into life at the firm.
